This campus serves adults who need intensive medical and psychiatric support, including those with complex dual diagnosis, recent relapse, or significant medical comorbidities. Our Mission Bay team specializes in the cases that require the highest level of clinical expertise.

High-acuity detox at Mission Bay addresses the most complex withdrawal scenarios—polysubstance dependence, significant medical conditions, and co-occurring psychiatric instability. Our medical team includes board-certified addiction physicians and 24/7 nursing. We provide medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders and coordinate closely with our psychiatric team for clients with dual diagnosis. Safety and comfort are our priorities.

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a cornerstone of Mission Bay. We initiate and manage buprenorphine, naltrexone, and other FDA-approved medications for opioid and alcohol use disorders. Our physicians understand the nuances of MAT and tailor protocols to individual needs. MAT is integrated with counseling and behavioral therapy—we view medication as a tool that supports recovery, not a substitute for it.

Psychiatric care at Mission Bay is comprehensive. Our psychiatric team provides evaluation, medication management, and ongoing support for depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other conditions. We integrate psychiatric care with addiction treatment in a unified care plan.
