From detox through aftercare, every RVK Treatment program is designed for clinical depth, family engagement, and durable long-term recovery.
Addiction treatment is not one-size-fits-all. The right level of care depends on substance history, medical conditions, psychiatric needs, and the strength of existing support systems. RVK Treatment offers the full continuum—from medical detox through long-term outpatient—so clients can move through levels without losing momentum. Our admissions team uses the ASAM Criteria to match each person to the appropriate starting point, ensuring that every client enters treatment at the level most likely to produce lasting results.
Medical detox addresses physical withdrawal; it is the gateway to treatment, not the end. Under continuous medical supervision, our physicians and nursing staff manage withdrawal symptoms with evidence-based medication protocols customized for each substance—alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, benzodiazepines, and stimulants each require distinct clinical approaches. Detox timelines range from three to ten days depending on the substance and severity of dependence. Our goal during detox is safety, comfort, and preparation for the therapeutic work ahead.
Inpatient and residential programs provide immersive, structured care for clients who need round-the-clock clinical support. Clients live on campus and participate in daily individual therapy, group process sessions, psychoeducation, and holistic wellness activities. Our residential model integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches. Psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and nutritional support are woven into each treatment plan. For many clients, residential care provides the first extended period of stability they have experienced in years.

Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) are essential step-down levels for clients who are medically stable but still require significant clinical structure. PHP programming runs five to six days per week, with clients returning home or to sober living each evening. IOP offers three to five sessions per week, enabling clients to resume work, school, or family responsibilities while maintaining therapeutic accountability. Both levels include individual counseling, group therapy, relapse prevention planning, and family engagement sessions.
Standard outpatient and aftercare services sustain recovery long after primary treatment ends. Outpatient clients attend one to two weekly sessions focused on relapse prevention, coping strategies, and community reintegration. Our aftercare program extends support for up to twelve months after discharge through alumni groups, regular check-in calls, and access to crisis intervention services. Longer engagement in treatment consistently correlates with better long-term outcomes, and our aftercare model is designed to keep clients connected to their recovery community.
We also offer specialized tracks that address the unique needs of specific populations and substance types. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines FDA-approved medications—buprenorphine, naltrexone, and acamprosate—with behavioral therapy for opioid and alcohol use disorders. Dual diagnosis care integrates psychiatric treatment for co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Our trauma treatment track uses EMDR, somatic experiencing, and prolonged exposure therapy to help clients process unresolved experiences that drive addictive behavior. Family therapy programs engage loved ones in the recovery process, addressing codependency, communication breakdowns, and the rebuilding of trust. We maintain specialized programming for adolescents, working professionals, and veterans, recognizing that each population faces distinct barriers to recovery.
