Ventura Harbor House

Ventura Harbor House serves teens and adults with a family-centered approach. Located near the Ventura coast, this 96-bed campus specializes in adolescent treatment and residential care for adults. We believe that addiction affects entire families, and our programming reflects that—family therapy, family education, and structured visitation are core to the Ventura Harbor experience.

Our adolescent program at Ventura Harbor serves teens ages 13–17. We offer age-appropriate individual and group therapy, peer support, academic support, and family involvement. Our clinicians are trained in adolescent development and understand the unique pressures of teen substance use. School continuity is a priority; we coordinate with schools to support academic progress during treatment.

Adult residential care at Ventura Harbor provides the same clinical depth as our other campuses—individual therapy, group process, relapse prevention, and experiential programming. The difference is the family focus. We integrate family therapy throughout the stay and prepare both clients and families for the transition home. Our family services team helps loved ones understand addiction, set boundaries, and support recovery.

The coastal setting of Ventura Harbor supports treatment engagement. Research suggests that natural environments can reduce stress and improve mood regulation.
